Aged 25 to 50 years old, these transtibial or transfemoral amputee patients were supported by PROTEOR’s local CPOs, who realized the fittings.

Physicians, physiotherapists and members of the ADEPA association1 were also there to dispense their advices and observe the pleasure those men and women have taken by running again. After a first short adaptation time, a patient who had not run for 4 years regained her confidence. She could run in a straight line, wove in and out and even shift her weight by jumping from one leg to the other.

At the same time as this day dedicated to the discovery of PROTEOR's running blades, the participants have had an overview of some other PROTEOR products such as the BtK Sport, the Hydeal II, the Symphony and the Hybrid knees, plus the OdrA and BASKO knee orthoses.
